Individual Therapy

Flyer

We provide individual cognitive-behavioural therapy for teens (ages 13-17) facing emotional challenges. We work individually with adolescents to help them manage emotions, cope with concerns, and build resilience. Parents are included in the process when helpful, ensuring a supportive path to healing.

We accept self- or parent-referrals. We will first conduct a telephone interview to learn more about the teen and their treatment goals. If accepted onto the waitlist, teens will be invited for a 2-3 hour in-person assessment to determine eligibility for therapy.

Therapy will start in mid-September and will involve in-person sessions at the UBC Point Grey Campus.

Therapists will be UBC graduate students in clinical psychology supervised by a registered psychologist with expertise in adolescent treatment.
